Celtic Spring

Closing out the Fowler Center season is the fiddle and dance band Celtic Spring, often referred to as the Von Trapp family of Celtic music. Champion Irish dancers, six siblings and their parents bring Celtic culture to life with performances featuring ornate costumes, lively music, and spirited reels, jigs, and hornpipes. Celtic Spring's music hails from Ireland, Scotland, and Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. While firmly grounded in the traditions of their ancestors, Celtic Spring’s style is all its own. The group, which has appeared on Good Morning America and Today, was a finalist in NBC’s America’s Got Talent and their reverberating foot beats and high intensity fiddling put them at the top of the step-dance scale.
